Edenopteron keithcrooki

Edenopteron was a large, predatory Tetrapodomorph fish that lived during the Late Devonian, and whose remains have been uncovered in Australia, near the town of Eden (hence the etymology). It was a large member of the Tristichopteridae; a close relative to the more well known Eusthenopteron. Tristichopterids were generally denizens of brackish and coastal waters, where they hunted other fish and early tetrapods.
